“Natural” change is a transformation that starts and happens from within. It is a new shift, a new way to perceive life. It often comes after long periods of stress and tension in your daily routines.
“Imposed” change is a consequence of an external change such as a loss of a loved one, a sudden finance loss or a global pandemic. In this case the change happens first around us and then is imposed on us. Two common reactions to the “Imposed” are: DENIAL of the situation, this is an unconscious state; and RESISTANCE to the change, a survival state. And as you may have heard millions time by now, they are both normal reactions. Deciding to be ready for the change can be a personal choice. Once we notice and become aware of those two normal reactions mentioned above, the Denial and the Resistance, we can choose how to deal with the new challenge. Yep! it is not a problem but a challenge. Stop thinking in the old way, letting go of obsolete ideas and open your mind. The unknown is exactly the place where you want to be at the moment. It is there, away from your comfort zone, where you will start looking at new and different ways of thinking.
Think “outside the box”. Choose to be creative. Practising creativity will encourage to explore new lands. And perhaps it will help to discover that creative element that was missing in your professional and personal life.
